8U Jamboree

Game Format:
- 30 minute games
- 2 x 12 minute halves
- Min 3 games per team
Schedule
For Coaches:
- Coaches meeting at 8:00 AM (30 min before 1st match)
- 4x4 Goals
- Speed Lacrosse format
- No goalies
For Families & Spectators:
- Food, beverages, tents and music are encouraged
- North Boarder Taco Truck will be on site
- Dogs are allowed on the grass, but not the turf! (PLEASE CLEAN-UP)
- Gym restrooms as noted on map are a little bit of a walk, so plan accordingly!
Additional Information
Parking Information:
- DVMS has a large parking lot; however, the later you arrive, the longer the walk will be.
- Overflow parking is available on the street behind the school.
- The food truck will be parked closest to the field entrance, so please ensure you leave adequate room for it.
Family Area Information:
- Tents and music are highly recommended.
- Dogs are welcome, but must remain on the grass only.
- Outside food and drinks are encouraged.
- Restrooms are available in the gym, though it’s a longer walk, so please plan accordingly.
- Porta potties are available and are located closer to the field.
Game/Team Information:
- Format: Speed Lacrosse
- Game Length: Two 12-minute running-clock halves with a 6-minute halftime
- Timekeeping: Universal timekeeping
- Start/End: Air horn to signal the start and end of each half
- Faceoffs: Faceoff only at the start of each half
- Pass Rule: One attempted pass prior to taking a shot
- Play After a Goal: Grab and go
- Clear Rule: Free clear
- Referees: The home coach will referee the first period, and the away coach will referee the second period.
